“So I took a chance to give it all to God and to just commit all my actions unto Him and my plans will succeed. And, sure enough, it was wonderful that I ended up having a gig at Pure Radio 103.7, a Christian Gospel radio station. And going moving forward with that, that inspired my children to start their own business, roasting coffee. And they had no idea where to start. But, once again, my sweet Michelle saw something in my babies. And helped sponsor and get my kids out there for entrepreneurship, um, programs and events that inspired my babies at eleven years old and eight years old to get out there, too. And I can tell you what, that has definitely changed my- my life, and not just because they have really cool shirts, let me show you one. Ha, Healing Women Healing Nations. Super great. That was fast forward, um, into now, being a part of such a wonderful group, and to know it’s pretty selfish to think I’m the only one that has been through stuff, but just remember you are not alone. You are not alone. And just because you are of a strong background, a veteran, a Marine, doesn’t mean we don’t go through things, too.”

“Hi! I just wanted to come to you live and let you guys know that I attended the, um, the Michelle Speakz Learning 2 Love Me, Second Annual Learning 2 Love Me. It was amazing. If you missed it, I expect for you to be here next year because I met some phenomenal women, I learned phenomenal things from phenomenal people. And my takeaway, among many things, was learning to say “no” without explaining. And just to really live out loud and live yourself and that’s one of the things that I’ve been working on anyway for the past six years or so. It’s just really doing what I love to do and not letting people put limitations on me and just living my true self. So, my friend, my sister, Miss Michelle Poitier of Michelle Speakz, I am so honored and blessed that you had this event today and I look forward to many more to come. God is gonna use you. He is using you and you are blessing so many women. And you are a blessing to me. You’re always a blessing to me even when we have our conversations away from events like this. You have always poured into my life and I thank you for that and I’m telling you guys, if you don’t know Michelle Speakz or Healing Women Healing Nations, you need to look her up, she’s on Facebook. It’s Michelle Speakz with a Z. And she is awesome. So look for events that she has around town. It is worth it, you will be blessed, it’s not something that is artificially put together, she’s very professional, and she has a word, encouraging word. I had the opportunity to meet Tamika Hughs from the news station and she is just as beautiful in person as she is on television and her spirit is beautiful and I had a chance to tell her that her hair and makeup is always on point because it always is. So, I’m just letting you guys know, Michelle Speakz from Healing Women Healing Nations. If you have the chance to go to any more of her events, do it, OK? Just look her up on Facebook, Google her. You will be blessed beyond measure. And she’s my friend, not just a person that gives events. She’s a true friend and a sister to me. And she has been through stuff, but she’s allowing God to use what she’s been through to bless others. And she was definitely a blessing to all of us women here today at the Vision Center. Shout out to Lady K! We love you, you ran the house today, too. You prayed an awesome prayer. I felt the Holy Spirit moving in there today. Lady K of the Vision Center, I love you. And that’s Charday’s mom, by the way. We love you Lady K. Pamela Kurt Patrick I enjoyed sitting with you today and, um, it was just amazing. So, you guys be blessed. Just remember Michelle Poitier! I’m telling you, remember that name because she’s going places. You’re gonna see her someplace else big really soon. OK, signing off. Love you guys. And be blessed.”

“It’s just really nice to know that there’s other women that have been through the things that I’ve been through that recover and heal and, um, to know, kinda like, heal the same way I do. Um, and to know it’s it’s possible to get better. And that I’m not alone and it’s just really good to know that constantly I’m I’m reassured that I’m not alone. I’m not alone.”

“Yes. What I got out of today with mental health, uh, and wellness is the fact that we can’t we can’t separate mental, behavioral, and physical ailments, disorders, or diseases. Um, What brings us all together is humanity and, you know, coming to accept these things without any prejudice or judgement. We are all human beings, first and foremost, and that’s what we strive to, uh, to attain here is to keep it unified but still understand that we all have our own paths in getting to the same place. Thank you.”
